NGAPALI BEACH

​The beach is not crowded at all. But it is not a budget place as you usually have to fly in & out and rooms start at $30. If you arrive without reservation you should rather plan in $50 at least. Since the beach is narrow and stretched out.

By bus
It’ s a tour the force to get here by bus. There are daily buses running between Yangon, Aung Migalar bus terminal and Thandwe.

Ye Aung Lan Express bus company (Address:Room 1 Bldg. G Aung Mingalar Highway Station Dagon Street. Phone +95-01-708258, 727379, 639466)
 and Aung Thitsar are well known to operate daily. Tickets cost around 15,000 Kyats per person. The journey takes about 17 hours over mountain ranges with lots of stops at immigration points. Make sure to take warm clothing with you as it tends to get chilly overnight. When you arrive in Thandwe, you will need to take a taxi to reach Ngapali Beach.

It is located in Lin Thar village, on a small bay at Ngapali Beach,  15 minutes driving from Thandwe Airport.  It has top class standard amenities for mid-range prices, away from the main street.
